Day 1: Arrive Stockholm Arrive Stockholm Airport. Transfer to Sheraton Stockholm Hotel, a first class hotel overlooking the Old Town and the waterways of Stockholm, for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Stockholm After a Scandinavian buffet breakfast, start a 4-hour guided tour of Stockholm. Famous sights include the Royal Palace, the Parliament buildings, the island of Djurgården and the Old Town (Gamla Stan), with its narrow cobbled streets and many antique shops. Visit City Hall with its famous Blue and Golden Halls, where the Nobel Prize Banquet is held each year. Afternoon free. Your tour escort can arrange optional visits to Drottningholm Palace or the Wasa Museum on request. Dinner and overnight at the Sheraton Stockholm Hotel.
 Day 3: Stockholm - Helsinki Morning free for exploring this beautiful city, called the Venice of the North because of its many canals and waterways. Afternoon coach transfer to board a luxurious Silja Line cruise ferry. Depart for Helsinki at 5 p.m., sailing down Stockholm’s picturesque archipelago. Buffet dinner onboard. Choice of entertainment, bars, shops and casino onboard. Overnight in a 2-berth outside cabin with private facilities.
Day 4: Helsinki - Stockholm Enjoy a buffet breakfast as you sail into Helsinki. Spend a whole day in this exciting city on the Baltic. Enjoy a 3-hour guided tour of Helsinki. Famous sights include the Senate House, the Finlandia Hall, the Sibelius Park & Monument, and the Rock Church. Afternoon free for shopping or exploring. Leave at 5 p.m. on the Silja Line return cruise to Stockholm. Dinner and overnight onboard.
Day 5: Stockholm – Copenhagen After a buffet breakfast, arrive in Stockholm at 9:30 a.m. The tour continues by coach through the countryside of Southern Sweden to the city of Jönköping, at the southern end of Lake Vättern. Lunch in Jönköping. Continue through the provinces of Småland and Skåne to the city of Malmö. Cross the Øresund Bridge to Denmark, for an early evening arrival in Copenhagen. Dinner and overnight at Radisson SAS Scandinavia Hotel.
 Day 6: Copenhagen The day begins with a 3-hour guided tour of the city. Famous sights include the Amalienborg Palace, the Gefion Fountain, Christiansborg Palace, the old Nyhavn harbor, and the famous Little Mermaid. Enjoy the afternoon free to explore this fairytale city. We recommend a tour down the popular pedestrian shopping street – Strøget, or perhaps a canal tour. Dinner in the famous Tivoli Gardens. Overnight at Radisson SAS Scandinavia Hotel.
Day 7: Copenhagen – Oslo After a Danish Buffet breakfast, spend the morning free in Copenhagen for shopping and sightseeing. Afternoon transfer by coach to DFDS Seaways terminal for your overnight cruise to Oslo, departing at 5 p.m. Enjoy a delicious Scandinavian buffet dinner as you cruise gently up the Kattegat. There is dancing and entertainment on board, or you may prefer to sit out on deck and watch the sunset. Overnight in 2-berth outside cabin with private facilities.
 Day 8: Oslo A Scandinavian buffet breakfast is served as you sail up the Oslo Fjord to reach the Norwegian capital at 9 a.m. After disembarkation, a 3-hour guided tour of Oslo takes you to the famous Viking Ships, the Polar Exploration ship Fram, the amazing Vigeland Sculpture Park, and other sights. Travel by coach this afternoon to the Holmenkollen Ski Jump. Dinner and overnight at Radisson SAS Scandinavia Hotel.
Day 9: Oslo or start of Splendor of the Fjords Extension
Guests on the Four Capitals Tour transfer to Oslo Airport to coincide with individual flight departures.
