Day 1: Copenhagen Individual arrivals to Copenhagen. Overnight in Copenhagen. Day 2: Copenhagen Enjoy a Scandinavian breakfast at your hotel before exploring the Danish capital. Famous sights include the Little Mermaid, the City Hall place, the Gefion Fountain, Nyavn and the Royal Amalienborg Palace. Overnight in Copenhagen. Day 3: Copenhagen – Odense After breakfast, pick up your rental car and begin your journey to Roskilde, with a visit to the Viking Ship Muesum and Roskilde’s XII S Cathedral. Continue to the Island of Fyn. Visit the medieval Egeskov Castle. Continue to Odense, birthplace of the famous fairytale author, Hans Christian Andersen, with a visit to the H.C. Andersens Museum. Overnight in Odense. Day 4: Odense – Århus After breakfast, depart for Jutland. Pass many romantic farmhouses on the way. In Billund, visit the world famous “Legoland”. Continue to the village of Jelling to visit its “Rune Stones”. Travel to Aarhus for a visit to the “Old Town”, and open-air museum with restored houses from various parts of Denmark. Overnight in Aarhus. Day 5: Århus – Copenhagen Depart Aarhus after breakfast to Ebeltoft, an old, idyllic and romantic village. Cross by ferry via Rorvig to the island of Sealand. Disembark in Hundersted and travel to Hilleroed and visit Fredriksborg Castle. Stop in Helsingoer and see Kronborg, Denmark’s most famous castle. Continue through the countryside back to Copenhagen.
