This itinerary includes the highlights of the magnificent Sognefjord.
Day 1: Oslo
Arrive in Oslo for overnight.
Day 2: Oslo – Myrdal – Flåm
Depart Oslo on a scenic train ride to Myrdal. Connect with the Flåm Railway for another breath-taking train ride. Dinner and overnight at Fretheim Hotel.
Day 3: Flåm – Balestrand
Cruise from Flåm to Balestrand on the Aurlandsfjord and Sognefjord. Dinner and overnight at Kvikne’s Hotel.
Day 4: Balestrand area – “Glacier Day”
After breakfast start a daylong excursion to the village Fjærland and two famous glaciers. In Fjærland continue to the Glacier Museum and the Supphellebreen and Bøyabreen glaciers. Arrive back at the Fjærland dock for a cruise back to Balestrand. Dinner and overnight at Kvikne’s Hotel.
Day 5: Balestrand – Bergen
Cruise from Balestrand to Bergen for overnight.
Day 6: Bergen
Itinerary ends after breakfast.
