DEPOSIT
Escorted Tours: A deposit of $100 per person is required to confirm a booking. This amount will be applied towards your travel package. Once the tour is confirmed this deposit is non-refundable.
Cruises: A deposit of $400 per person is required to confirm a booking. This amount will be applied towards your travel package. Once the cruise is confirmed this deposit is non-refundable.
Independent Travel: Nordic Saga Tours requires a deposit of $50.00 per person to confirm a booking. This amount will be applied to your travel package. Once confirmed, this deposit is non-refundable.

FINAL PAYMENT
Escorted Tours/ Independent Travel: Final payment is due 60 days prior to departure.
Cruises: Final payment is due 70 days prior to departure.

CANCELLATION & REFUNDS
Escorted Tours/ Independent Travel Cancellations received 60 to 40 days prior to departure forfeit deposit and 25% of total package price per person. Cancellations received 39 to 14 days prior to departure forfeit deposit and 50% of total package price per person. No refund will be given for cancellations received 13 days or less prior to departure. Hotel reservations are non-refundable within 21 days of arrival.
Cruises: Cancellations received 70 to 35 days prior to departure forfeit deposit and 50% of total package price per person. No refund will be given for cancellations received 35 days or less prior to departure.

GENERAL
Travel Insurance: We strongly recommend the purchase of travel insurance. Please see our Trip Protection Plan details below.
Cancellation and Refunds: Cancellations must be in writing. The date of cancellation shall be the date when written notice is received by Nordic Saga Tours. Nordic Saga Tours terms and conditions override our air/sea/land supplies terms and conditions.
Service fees: A $25 processing fee appliers to each booking. Bookings made, or payments received 15 days or less prior to departure from the U.S., will be assessed an additional $30.00 last-minute booking fee.
Changes to a booking: Prior to final documentations: $50 per person, plus any other fees that may be assessed by our air/sea/land suppliers. After final documentation: $100 per person plus any other fees that may be assessed by our air/sea/land suppliers. If client chooses to make changes to the travel arrangements made by Nordic Saga Tours while on their trip, there will be no refunds for unused portions.
Prices: Prices are in US dollars and are subject to change until paid in full.
Travel Agency Responsibility: In order to avoid misunderstandings, please be sure that clients are informed about any cancellation and/or change fees applicable to their travel program.
Independent travel: Includes any of Nordic Saga Tours’ unescorted itineraries, overnight ferries, as well as any related special independent or custom arrangements.


All rates in the brochure are subject to change. Nordic Saga Tours will not be responsible for breach of contract by the suppliers, careless actions, omissions or intentional acts on the part of the suppliers, which result in any loss, damage, delay, or injury to you, your travel companions or group members, financial failure, including but not limited to bankruptcy, by any supplier as to any deposit made by Nordic Saga Tour to any such supplier, on your behalf, or any failure by a supplier to perform in any manner, including honoring any tickets due to financial failure.

Nordic Saga Tours shall not be responsible for any injuries, damages, or losses caused to any traveler in connections with terrorist activities, social or labor unrest, mechanical or construction difficulties, disease, local laws, climatic conditions, abnormal conditions or developments, or any other actions, omissions or conditions outside Nordic Saga Tours’ control.

By embarking upon his or her travel, the traveler(s) voluntarily assumes all risk involved with such travel, whether expected or unexpected. Traveler is hereby warned of such risks, and is advised to obtain appropriate insurance coverage against them. Your retention of tickets, reservations or bookings shall constitute a consent to the above, and an agreement on your part to convey the contents hereto to your travel companions or group members. The traveler will be bound by all rules, conditions and terms of the suppliers in connection with any service rendered.

All prices listed in this brochure are based on availability, rate of exchange at time of printing, and are subject to change without notice. The majority of our escorted tours have guaranteed departures – ask us for details at time of booking! Please note that on some of our escorted tours participants and escorts may join and/or leave the tour at certain transit points. This is to offer our clients as many tour options and variety as possible.
