Åre is the only ski resort in Sweden with a genuine Alpine atmosphere. The cable car takes you directly to the top of the mountain and you can ski all the way down to the village and Åre square. In Åre there are 100 slopes, 40 lifts and the highest groomed slope is found at an altitude of 1,274 meters.. There are many restaurants in Åre village offering delicious and characteristic food from all over the world, and you will find nightlife for any taste, every night.
